CLASH OF CLAYMORES 2019

The 2nd Annual Clash of Claymores will be held April 26th - 28th. Clash of Claymores shall feature multiple events and even more classes than before!

LONGPOINT LEAGUE EVENT!

For the first time, Clash of Claymores joing the ranks of events such as Flowerpoint, Broken Point, and Longpoint in being part of the Longpoint Leauge, North America's premier HEMA Competion Leauge!

PREMIER TOURNAMENT!

With the dramatic growth of competitors over the past several years, there is a wide range of skill levels present from rookies to top tier competitors. The Premier Tournament is the event for the best competitors today! The Premier Tournament is by invitation only and those taking part in the Premier may not compete in the other Longsword events. The Premier Tournament will take place on Sunday, April 28th.

ROOKIE TOURNAMENT!

Last year saw the true rise of the rookie event. Between Lambpoint, Steel City Open, and Fighty McFightface, the Rookie event is a great opportunity for new fencers to shine in competition and receive coaching from some of the finest instructors in the region! Clash of Claymores will feature it's own Rookie Tournament designed for up and coming fencers to get even more comprehensive training from coaches while being able to compete in more bouts. The Rookie Tournament will take place on Friday, April 28th.

INTERMEDIATE TOURNAMENT!

Not a rookie or a top tier fighter? That's okay, we got you! The Intermediate Tournament is open to any fencer EXCEPT for those competing in the Premier Event. This event will feature 2 rounds of pools with the top fighters entering a single elimination bracket.

SABER TOURNAMENT

We get it! Not everyone in HEMA does Longsword! Following the success of Brass Frog and Steel City Open, Clash of Claymores shall feature it's own Saber Tournament! It shall be the kickoff Tournament of the event and will will be open to anyone who wishes to compete!

CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS!

We know, we know, not everyone goes to these things to compete! If you like learning lots of new things from amazing instructors, look no further! We have at least 12 classes and workshops lined up with more to follow. Want to learn how to use the rapier, how to become a better coach, or what it means to be a Meyer Heretic? We got you, boo!
